"He hasn't got the will to show up anywhere, much less get himself into shape for a word class performance.

"He may have a wave at guests or dance on top of a lime.. but a long term show? That dream will never come true, I'm afraid."

Back To The Future - Studio Fire Destroys Movie History

LATEST: A KING KONG exhibit and the set from the BACK TO THE FUTURE movies were among the film gems destroyed by the fire that raged through Universal Studios in California on Sunday (1June08).

The fire also destroyed a huge video archive of Universal movies and TV shows, but bosses insist the film is replaceable.

Studio boss Ron Meyer says, "We have duplicates of everything. Nothing is lost forever."

Investigators have yet to establish the cause of the inferno, which has caused damage worth millions of dollars.

It's the second blaze at Universal Studios in 18 years. The last one, in 1990, was started by a security guard and caused $25 million (GBP12.5 million) in damage.

Boy George denies false imprisonment charge

Singer Boy George has denied a charge that he falsely imprisoned a male escort.
The former Culture Club frontman, real name George O'Dowd, appeared in a London court yesterday where he was ordered to stand trial later this year.
He will fight the charge that he chained escort Audun Carlsen, 28, to a wall. The offence is alleged to have taken place at the star's Shoreditch home in East London last year.
A previous hearing was told the case centres on an "allegation of false imprisonment".
The 46-year-old, dressed all in black and wearing sunglasses, pleaded not guilty during the brief hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court, East London.
Boy George was then ordered to stand trial at the same court in November. It is expected to last five days. He left the court without making any comment.
Boy George, who remains on bail under the condition that he cannot contact the alleged victim, left Culture Club in the late 1990s, before briefly trying a solo career. He later became a club DJ.
In 2006 he was ordered to sweep the streets of Manhattan by a US court after charges stemming from an incident when police responded to his call reporting a burglary and found cocaine in his apartment.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is Still Alice

Despite recent rumours that Sarah Michelle Gellar has been dumped in favour of 'Lost's' Maggie Grace (Kate), the former Buffy star insists she's still the front runner to play Alice in the movie adaptation of American McGee's computer game.
Talking to America's Radio Free, Gellar said: "It's a passion project of mine. It's a story that I'd love to see. I'm fearful at this rate that I'm going to be the Queen of Hearts because I'm going to be too old to be Alice."
That being the case Dakota Fanning may well be in line to play the part in a more family friendly version of the film.
Sarah Michelle added that 'Alice' "...is something I'd really like to see done. And unfortunately, it was the victim of regime change in the studio. And I'm not getting out. And contrary to what you may have read, it's still my project."
Given the writer's strike, there's no news yet on when the film will go into production.
